Naneghat, also known as NanachaAngtha(Nana's Thumb), is a part of Western Ghats and is located near Junnar Taluka. The place is called so because it served as a trade route from Kalyan to Junnar. ‘Toll’ was collected from the traders who used this route; hence the name Naneghat (Nane - coin and Ghat - pass)got picked up.Located at a height of 2,461 ft., Naneghat forms a short-cut between Konkan and Deccan regions. As one enters this region, one is welcomed by a huge ancient cave that proudly carries the remnants of its history. The walls of the caves have numerous inscriptions, sculptures and gods carved etc.

Tour Program:

Day 01 Morning departure from Pune to Naneghat. Breakfast at Peth. Proceed to Naneghat, a mountain pass in the Western Ghats range near Junnar. During the reign of the Satavahana (200 BCE–190 CE), on return journey visit Kukdeshwar Temple. Lunch at Junnar. Proceed to Pune. Evening arrival at Pune.

Note :

Vehicles will be arranged as per the group size. It can be Car, Bus or Tempo Traveler
Tour Manager will be provided as per group size. (Minimum 8 Pax)
Breakfast: Tea with Poha OR Upma
Vegetarian Thali will be served for Lunch and followed by Tea at the evening
Only breakfast & lunch will be provided
Minimum 4 seats are required for tour completion.
If only 2 seats are booked then extra charges will be applicable for the tour.

No refund shall be payable: For any missed / unused services of the tour including the meals due to whatsoever reason
Refund is not applicable within 24 hrs. of the tour departure time
All disputes pertaining to the tour and any claim arising there under shall be subject to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Pune only
