Rajgad is one of the forts in the Pune district of Maharashtra state. The fort is around 1,400 m (4,600 ft.) above sea level. It was capital of the Maratha Empire during the rule of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for almost 26 years, after which he moved the capital to Raigad Fort. The fort is located 60 km from Pune, about 15 km West of Nasrapur in the Sahyadri range.
Trek Details: One day trek, medium endurance. Assemble at Pickup points at 5:30 am. Drop at Gunjawane Village at 8 am and have breakfast. Climb the Rajgad fort through Chor Darwaja and reach the fort by 12pm. Have Lunch by siting in Padmavati Mandir. Visit Balekilla and start the return journey at 3 pm. Reach base village till 5 pm. Have a small refreshment of tea/ coffee and return back to Pune.

Some ready to eat food/cake/Biscuit 7. At least 2 Lemons, Glucose-D, Odomos & personal medicine 8. Identity proof (Must) 9. Raincoat/poncho 10. Pack your bags with polythene to protect from water

Note: • A buffer time of 15 min at all pickup points will be given. • Any person found Smoking and drinking will be debarred from the group. • Changes in the schedule will be subject to the situation at that point of time. • As we are going in vicinity of nature, no one will throw any garbage in that area and will carry it back home. • Minimum 10 PAX is required to depart the Trek.
